A Coastal Oasis in the Heart of Paso Robles, CA

Welcome to the Beach Villa at Paso! We are happy to open our home to fellow wine lovers looking to add a coastal breeze to their wine country experience. The Villa features three spacious king-bedrooms with plush mattresses that will make you feel like you’re floating on water! The master suite features a luxury bathroom complete with tiled shower, vanity, soaker tub, and built-in storage.

The modern kitchen is complete with an island (only fitting for a coastal home!) and includes everything you’d need to prepare a home-cooked meal! Feel free to store your wine in the wine fridge, but please remember to take it with you, as we cannot be held liable for the next guests’ drinking habits. The dining table seats six and is located directly across from the door to the backyard, where you will find multiple seating options, including a cabana that seats 8! Our outdoor space also features recliner seats, a pair of cocktail chairs, and plenty of space around the fire pit to situate as many patio chairs as you desire.

Back inside, you will also find plenty of seating in the living room and a 50-inch Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and more already pre-loaded! Oh, and cable of course! Lastly, the guest bath has its own standing vanity, shower-tub combination, and plenty of cabinet storage. Once you experience our home and hospitality, we are fairly certain you won’t want to stay anywhere else in Paso Robles!

Aside from our coffee maker, we also have a tea kettle in the house. And, of course, the wine fridge!

We highly recommend this “beach villa” to anyone looking to have a truly relaxing getaway. From the helpful information of local wineries/attractions, the considerate gift basket awaiting us with cheeses and wine, and the cozy home like feel, we immediately knew we had chosen the right rental! After some research we had settled on this property due to its quick access to peachy canyon wineries and a 10 minute walk to downtown. However, once we arrived, we never wanted to leave! Each living space and bedroom were beautifully decorated and made us feel right at home. The backyard continued to provide just the “wow factor” we were looking for. Numerous seating areas, a fire pit, BBQ, and beautiful table for outdoor dining, were all used during our stay. We even opted to stay in and cook one evening in order to truly utilize the beautiful space. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools we needed to cook a scrumptious meal after a quick trip to the store. Even down to the “emergency” bottle of wine! Property manager Gina checked in daily to provide any additional information and to make sure we were having a wonderful stay. I am sure we will rent this house again the next time we visit Paso!

Check-in & Checkout

Check-in is from 3pm. Each guest is provided a custom door code to enter onto a keypad, which will unlock the front door, allowing access to the house throughout your stay. 

Cancellation Policy

We understand your plans may change. Should you need to cancel, please do so with at least 48 hours until your scheduled check-in.

House Rules

We will send you a detailed list of house rules upon booking, but our policy essentially comes down to this: “Treat our home as if it is your grandmother’s house.”

Location & Nearby Attractions

Downton Paso Robles is such a fun place to walk and explore! It’s about a 10 minute walk from the house, so bring comfortable shoes because there’s really no reason to drive.

Restaurants

Some of our favorite restaurants in the downtown area include Basil Thai, Yanagi Sushi, La Cosecha (European cuisine), Odyssey World Cafe (breakfast or lunch), Brunch, Il Coritile, Buona Tavola (Italian), The Hatch, La Mexicana Restaurant, and The Steakhouse at the Paso Robles Inn.

Wine Tasting

Our top recommendations for wine tasting rooms in the downtown area are JUSTIN and Crazy Woman Cellars.

Vineyard Ventures

Go beyond the downtown area and explore some of our favorite wineries! We highly recommend Lone Madrone, Guyomar, Gelfand, and Michael Gill, but there are over 280 other wineries to choose from! Peachy Canyon is just up the road from the villa and has some of the best kept vineyards in Paso!

Bars & Lounges

We highly recommend checking out Libretto, a jazz bar that opened downtown Paso Robles in 2021. Your best bet for a nighttime bar/lounge scene is Pappy McGregors Irish Pub. It’s open late and they operate a dance floor from 11pm – 2am.

We would be remiss if we did not recommend Spearhead Coffee and AMSTRDM on our list!

Shows & Entertainment

Aside from the movie theatre downtown, most of the entertainment is Paso Robles is seasonal. If you’re here for one of the festivals, parades, or county fairs, please consult their programs for more information. You can also find information on the town website: pasorobles.com

Day Trips & Sight Seeing

In the mood to see more of California’s central coast? The Beach Villa at Paso is only 30 minutes from San Luis Obispo and Cambria. Hearst Castle is in San Simeon, a short drive up the coast from Cambria. Pismo Beach is also a popular coastal town, only 20 minutes further south than San Luis Obispo.

The moment we walked into this very charming house in Paso Robles we felt welcomed and at home! The house is clean and bright and has all of the amenities that we expected including VERY FAST wifi and a fully appointed kitchen. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, pillows and extra blankets. The well manicured and landscaped backyard area was a relaxing place to enjoy our morning coffee and afternoon cheese and wine. We enjoyed the ten minute walk to downtown and the City Central Park which is surrounded by great shopping, restaurants and a relaxed yet upscale downtown environment. The owner, Ken, was very responsive to our pre-arrival questions and you can tell that he takes great pride in providing an overall fantastic experience for his guests. Located close to SEVERAL wineries, this house was perfect for our Central Coast winery exploration weekend. We are thrilled to have found this property and look forward to enjoying it for many more pleasurable weekend getaways!

My whole family love this house. It is so cute, we love the decoration. All rooms are spacious. Even though we didn’t spend a lot of time in the house, we did enjoy the open space layout and the backyard. Oh! the backyard is beautiful.

House was clean and well kept.

We were there for a graduation over at Cal Poly, it was such a short trip to San Luis Obispo. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Such a good house and we loved the gift basket that was left for us.
